Democrats are growing our economy

While some political groups across the nation hold differing viewpoints, the Biden Harris Administration remains dedicated to expanding opportunities for all Americans. This administration has made impressive strides, including record job growth and significant legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act. This groundbreaking accomplishment not only lowers costs for families but also addresses pressing issues such as climate change, reduces the deficit, and promotes corporate responsibility by ensuring that large corporations contribute their fair share.

In the realm of healthcare, the administration has made transformative changes. Medicare can now negotiate the prices of high-cost drugs, and seniors have a capped cost of $35 for a month's supply of insulin. Moreover, recommended adult vaccines are now available to Medicare beneficiaries at no out-of-pocket cost, and yearly pharmacy expenses for seniors are limited to $2,000. Other achievements include strategic actions that led to a substantial reduction in gas prices from their peak in the summer of 2022.

The administration's commitment to investing in the American economy is evidenced by the bipartisan infrastructure law. This law has been instrumental in revitalizing the nation through projects such as rebuilding infrastructure, upgrading public transit systems, ensuring clean water, tackling pollution, extending affordable high-speed internet access, providing cleaner and cheaper energy, and creating quality jobs, some of which do not require a four-year degree.

Unfortunately, we've noticed that some political figures in the South Carolina State House have adopted policies that slow down the flow of federal funds to grassroots organizations, potentially impeding the progress that South Carolinians deserve. We believe it's crucial for South Carolinians to know that Democrats in Washington are unwavering in their commitment to represent Americans from all backgrounds.

Despite differing political viewpoints that can sometimes obstruct progress and introduce division, the Democrats remain focused on strengthening our democracy. It's important to recognize that division among us may be seen as an opportunity by international competitors like China and Russia to destabilize our democratic voting system. With this in mind, we continue to advocate for unity and progress for all Americans.
